Thursday Thoughts

I'm linking up today with:
Thursday Thoughts

  • Drew and I had bread, olive oil, and jelly beans for dinner last night. Clearly we're on a health kick. Clearly
  • The saddest part of the aformentioned meal? I actually went to the grocery store last night to get it. Not the jelly beans, those were an impulse buy. But the bread and oil? Planned dinner.

  • Along with the jelly beans we ate, I bought jelly beans to do one of those guessing jars... I filled a jar, thought it looked all pretty. And then realized I probably can't send a kid home with 461* jelly beans. Crap. Currently coming up with Plan B that still involves my awesome, multi-colored jar of beans.

  • Sometimes I amaze myself. The other day I was eating chips and salsa, and complaining as usual about the squishies in the salsa. And then I had a light bulb moment. I put the salsa in the Magic Bullet! It's perfect now, and I get to have my own little jar of salsa in the fridge.

  • I'm fighting yet another cold right now. Between teaching and Fynn's daycare, I'm exposed to billions of germs a day... obviously my body can't handle it
  • Fynn wants to walk. I'm scared. Girl is over trying to crawl. Or just sitting still would be a cool trick too. Nope, she's not having it. She wants to walk. I'm so screwed.
  • I'm not really feeling blogging this week, which explains why I've been MIA... Maybe next week I'll be back to my usual spark
*I asked Drew to guess how many jelly beans there were. His first guess was 463. I'm still trying to figure out how he did that.

  1. Great idea for dinner! Thank you! Hahaha.. my toddler will love that!

Magic Bullet is truly magic. I make all of my baby's food in that now and I can sneak in broccoli and it's so smooth, who knows?!

  4. Magic Bullets are awesome! I got one for my hubby a few years ago for his birthday, and I totally steal it all the time. And the bread and oil thing sounds amazing for dinner. I'm totally rethinking the spaghetti I had planned for tonight.
