Talking Duke App

I don't really pay for apps. If it's not free, I won't usually download it to my phone or iPad. There are a few exceptions to this "rule" of mine, but they are few and far between. I especially won't pay money for game or entertainment apps because, well, I'm cheap like that. I figure if I download a free app, and it stinks, then I wont feel bad, or feel like I've wasted my money.

One free app that I was introduced to was the Talking Duke App. Not going to lie, when I first downloaded it, I didn't know what I was going to do with it. It's an animated dog who talks, does silly things and makes noises. Interesting and all, but not something I would have much need for. I figured I'd write the review saying it was cool and all, just not for me, and it'd be done with.

Flash forward a few days later and I realized um...DUH! I have a 1 year old. An animated talking dog would probably be right up her alley.I opened the app on my iPad and let her see it. She toddled right over and started pushing on it. That's when I realized that when you talk when the app is open, it copies you and replays your words in a funky, animated voice. Hil-arious! I was laughing so hard because I kept talking, it would mimic me, and then Fynn would crack up about it. Too much fun. While it's not an app I really needed, it's been a lot of fun and a good distraction on all the sweltering hot days we've had lately when we've been stuck inside.
