Awkward Doctors Appointment

I've been trying to figure out how to write this without getting all TMI about it, but it's such a funny story, that I really want to write it down.

Let's backtrack a bit to where this story really begins. Last Tuesday I was at the after school group I coach. I've mentioned it before, but I coach a children's group that unicycles, juggles, and does all kids of other circus-like acts. While I can't really do many of the things, I do have mad scarf-juggling and plate-spinning skills. I decided to try unicycling again. I had tried two years ago, but stopped when I found out I was pregnant with Fynn.

I was awesome. One of my co-coaches held my hand and I was able to pedal all the way across the gym on my first try... if you've ever tried to unicycle before, you know that it's a big deal. However, then I got cocky... and did something stupid- I tried to ride by myself. Yup, I went about 2 feet before falling on my butt with a thud.... in front of 30 8-10 year olds. Not exactly my finest moment. I was a little sore, but luckily unscathed.

Fast forward a couple of days, and it was time for my yearly exam. Yes ladies, THAT exam. My feet were up, she had me scoot down... and then she gave me a perplexed look and asked what was with all the bruises. I was confused for moment, trying to figure it out. And then I laughed. I explained to her about the group, even told her the name of it and what I do... but I'm pretty sure she didn't believe me. She kept asking how things were going and if there was anything I wanted to talk about.

No lady, I'm just a fool with less coordination than I would like and weird determination to try things I probably should leave to the kids.
