Dashboard lights and taco-meters

While driving the other morning, I noticed one of those little lights on my dashboard was lit up:

Now, if you know anything about cars, you're probably thinking "okay, so what?" Well, the thing is, I don't know anything about cars. To me, this symbol could have meant that I was low on oil or that the self-destruct program had just been initiated. I had no idea. So of course, I texted Drew.

Oops! I guess I had hit the button. It's located right under the gear shifter (Yes, I had to ask Drew what "that thingy that shifts your car" is called), so I guess I bumped it when I put it into drive. Luckily he got back to me within minutes, so I didn't have too much time to muse about the possibility of my imminent doom. At some point I should probably learn these things about cars... but since I'm the same person that once referred to a tachometer as a "taco-meter"... that's probably not going to happen any time soon.
