Some day kid, my artistic skills won't impress you

It will be a sad, sad day when Fynn discovers that I'm not the artist she thinks I am.

I am an excellent stick-figure artist. I can rock stick figures like nobody's business. My students always laugh at my attempts to sketch things out or depict awesome stick figure people demonstrating how gravity works.

Fynn is particularly taken with my stick-figure fish. I drew one for her the other day when coloring with her, and they've been a hit ever since. That day she begged over and over for "more hish, more hish" even throwing in one of her rare verbal pleases (she signs please all the time, but very rarely says it aloud). in an attempt to get me to draw more. Over and over again she said "the hish, the hish" and walked around with they pictures like they were prized works of art worthy of museums.
True fact: every good stick-figure fish
comes complete with a smiley face

Since then, every time we sit down to color (which is a daily occurrence) she asks for more and more fish. And I oblige, because who doesn't want their kid to adore them and think they're mad skilled?

But someday, someday Fynn will realize what a fraud I am.
